When you phone, text or email, or use the enquiry form (which opens your own email app), we get the details you choose to give: usually your name, phone number, email, where the work is and what the job is.
How we use it and why
- To reply and give you a price (steps you've asked us to take before a contract).
- To do the work, issue certificates and reports, and invoice you (performance of a contract).
- To keep records the law says we must keep, such as accounts and electrical certificates (legal obligation).
We don't sell your details or use them for marketing without your permission.
Who we share it with
Only where it's needed for the job or the law: for example our email provider, our accountant, or a registration body where work has to be notified. The website is hosted by a third party, which may process basic technical data (such as IP addresses) to run and protect the site.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept only as long as needed to deal with them. Job records, certificates and invoices are kept as long as the law requires for tax and safety.
